New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s brother-in-law joined the Congress party today which has created a buzz in saffron party.
The move has come as a jolt to BJP party ahead of upcoming elections just around the corner in the last week of November.
The BJP state ruled Madhya Pradesh is all set to go for polling on 28 November to elect members of the 230 constituencies as the MP assembly tenure ends on January 7, 2019.
The last date of filing nominations is 9 November while the counting of votes is scheduled to take place on 11 December.
The election dates were made public on 6 October.
