MP CM studies urban development in Hong Kong, leaves for China

Bhopal, September 14 (Pervez Bari): The Bharatiya Janata Party ruled Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan in his first leg of China visit reached Hong Kong on Monday. He visited important places in regarding urban development there.

An official Press release said Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan left for Dalian city of China the same evening. There, he will take part in World Economic Forum from September 14 to 16. Trade representatives, politicians, scientists, social entrepreneurs, experts of economics and top executives of prominent companies of various countries are taking part in the World Economic Forum.

At the World Economic Forum programmes, “Changing behaviour of consumers due to economic and technological development in the world”, “Structure of trade and effects on financial market”, will be assessed. Experts from all over the world would put forth their views on economic strategies of future and discuss various important factors affecting the economic scenario. On September 16, Mr. Chouhan will reach Beijing where he will discuss possibilities of investment in Madhya Pradesh with world’s prominent investors.

On September 18, Mr. Chouhan will reach Shanghai. On September 19, he will take part in a road show at Shanghai for the investors interested to invest in Madhya Pradesh. He will undertake a study tour of Shanghai Urban Planning Museum on September 20 and will return to New Delhi on September 21.

The delegation accompanying the Chief Minister includes Industry Minister Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya, senior officers and delegates.

It may be mentioned here that Chief Minister, Mr. Chouhan had reached New Delhi from Bhopal on September 11 and left for Hong Kong en-route China the same evening. (pervezbari@eth.net)
