Jhabua, April 17: Describing youths as the strength of the country, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today announced formation of the Youth Commission to sort out issues plaguing younger generation.
“The state government is sensitive towards the problem of the youths and to address those issues, a Youth Commission will be established in the state,” Chouhan said addressing a public meeting after the two-day long Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) meet at Katthiwada, in Jhabua district. Jhabua, where the meeting was held, is the constituency of newly-appointed Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president, Kantilal Bhuria.
Chouhan criticised the Congress for backwardness of the tribal district and alleged that after Independence, the party (Congress) has encouraged corruption in the country. “It seems scams and corruption have become a tradition in the Congress rule,” Chouhan said while taking a dig at the grand-old party. He appealed the young activists of the party to keep an eye on implementation of welfare schemes to ensure that they benefit the common man and enhance his standard of life.
