(Pervez Bari) The Bharatiya Janata Party ruled Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan left here on Sunday for Mumbai to embark the visit of three countries.
During his 10-day foreign tour, Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan will visit Japan, Korea and Singapore. The Chief Minister was given a warm send-off at the state hangar by the cabinet members, chairpersons of corporations and boards, people’s representatives and workers.
During his investment promotion tour, Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan will meet industrialists of automobile, telecommunication, food processing, engineering and various other sectors. He is accompanied by Commerce & Industries Minister Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya and a business delegation of the state.
As per schedule, Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan will participate in various programmes at Tokyo on June 18, 19 and 20. From Tokyo, he will proceed to Seoul on June 20. He will participate in various programmes at Seoul on June 21, 22 and 23. He will reach Singapore from Seoul on June 23. He will participate in various programmes at Singapore on June 24 and 25. He will return to New Delhi from Singapore on June 26.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh will represent India at Exhibition M. Tech and India Show at Tokyo in Japan. For this, Madhya Pradesh had received invitation from Japan government and Union Industries Ministry had also said so. He said that Madhya Pradesh will put up a separate stall there and he will also take part in road show. The Chief Minister said that a large part of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor passes through Madhya Pradesh and Japanese investors are interested to invest in it. An investors’ meet will also be held over there where he will have one-to-one meetings with investors. He will apprise them about possibilities of investment in Madhya Pradesh and state’s special features. Besides, he will also participate in investors’ meets at Singapore and Korea and marketing of Madhya Pradesh will be done.
Mr. Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh become most preferred state for investors all over the world now. During the visits, investors will be invited to invest in Madhya Pradesh. Information focusing on infrastructure, industries, communication etc. will be provided to investors.
