New Delhi, Sept. 13 : Expressing serious concern over the Jhabua blast, the Congress Party on Sunday alleged that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was misusing his political influence and asked him to take preventive steps to ensure that political patronage is stopped in the state.
“What action have you taken Chief Minister from the head of the district police, the head of the municipal authorities downwards? What actions have you taken against this person, the head of your party’s Vyapam Prakosth Mandal? Is it not clearly a complete misuse of political influence? Is it not turning a nelsonian blind eye to patent illegalities being committed under your nose?”asked Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi.
“You must take preventive steps that various such activities mushrooming under your nose and political patronage are stopped forthwith not only in Jhabua but across your state,” he added.
The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister today visited the Petlaved blast site and assured every possible help to the affected people.
