Washington D.C. [USA], Nov 16 (ANI): In what will be the first premiere for a Hollywood film in India, the makers of Netflix’s ‘Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle’ will jet down to Mumbai for its world premiere on November 25.
Director Andy Serkis, actors Christian Bale, Freida Pinto, Louis Ashbourne Serkis, and newcomer Rohan Chand, who plays Mowgli in the film, will attend the world premiere, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.
Based on Rudyard Kipling’s classic novel ‘The Jungle Book’, the movie will stream on Netflix on December 7.
The all-star voice cast of the film includes Benedict Cumberbatch as the tiger Shere Khan, Cate Blanchett as the snake Kaa and director Serkis as the voice of the bear Baloo.
Bale has lent his voice to the character of panther Bagheera. The movie also stars Naomie Harris, Peter Mullan, and Matthew Rhys.
