Although there was a delay in issuance of scholarship and fee-reimbursement to minority students for the academic year 2012-13, Minority Finance Corporation is taking moves to issue the amount at the earliest.
Commissioner Minority Welfare and managing Director Minority Finance Corporation M A Waheed told that Finance Department has released the budget of Rs. 80.93 crore, however there are some hurdles in issuing the budget which are tried to be removed.
Mr. M A Waheed noted that difficulties are being faced as the fee-reimbursement and scholarship schemes have been transferred to social welfare.
