In the wake of the ensuing Sri Ganesh idols’ immersion on the Ananta Chaturdasi Day, Hyderabad city police commissioner Mahender Reddy today flagged off the camera-mounted vehicles at Tankbund, here. The CP also inaugurated a Command Control Station.
Speaking on the occasion, the CP said all necessary measures have been taken for Ganesh immersion ceremony in the capital city. The City Police was making all-out no efforts to ensure peaceful movement of vehicles with idols during the immersion day. Apart from deploying adequate number of police personnel, the city police are arranging check posts at various locations to check untoward incidents, he added. He also appealed to the citizens remain calm and peaceful during the immersion day. (NSS)
