The remaining 15 students have got into the bracket of 6 and 6.8 out of 10 category.

Mount Mercy School Management and Teachers congratulate the students and their parents for helping the school in achieving excellent results. The School Management and Teachers also renew their promise of commitment to do still better in the coming academic years.

Established in 1999 by a group of NRIs working in Saudi Arabia, the school started with strength of only 58 students. It was inaugurated by the then governor of Andhra Pradesh Mr. C Rangarajan. The school housed in a purpose-built building began attracting students owing to visible demonstration of commitment of the management, principal and teachers. Till date, eight batches of 10th class have passed out, most of them with flying colours.
The vision of the school is to spot talents among students and groom their overall personality. The students are encouraged to take part in inter-school competitions in a variety of fields where they get to know their standing among the students of other schools. “Instilling confidence among students is of prime importance to us. They are encouraged to take part in public speaking, writing skills, general knowledge tests, field trips and guest lectures by eminent personalities. When they graduate from the school, they are confident enough to face any real-life situation. At MMS is no room for turning students into parrots who mug up answers and reproduce them. Our students are encouraged to think independently and read more than what has been taught to them in the class or given in the syllabi,” Principal of the school Mrs. Ama tul Hai Fatima Farooqui said.

Mr. Syed Abdul Mutakabbir Arshad, Honorary Director of the School, said that the school has been putting back a very large part of its revenue to improve the quality of teaching and infrastructure. “The motive of the management is not to run after profits and cut costs where it is not required. We wish to give to the society what it requires—that is quality education at affordable price,” the Director said.
