Mount Abu coldest with minus 1 degree C in Rajasthan

Jaipur, January 06: Parts of Rajasthan continued to reel under intense cold with Mount Abu being the coldest place in the state with a low of minus one degrees Celsius, a Met official said today.

Cold conditions affected normal life in cities of Rajasthan with Dholpur recording a low of 3.8 deg C, Ganganagar at 5.1 deg C. Pilani had a low of 5.5 deg C, while Sikar recorded a minimum of 6 deg C. Jaipur had a minimum of 6.8 degree Celsius.

Ajmer recorded a low of 7.6 deg C followed by Bikaner at 7.7 deg C. Jodhpur recorded a low of 7.8 deg C.

Phalodi recorded a low of 8.5 deg C, Kota (9.2), Churu (9.3), Barmer (9.7) and Jaisalmer (10.8).

There would be slight rise in night temperature during the next few days, according to the Met forecast.
