MoU signed on provision of visa between India and Iraq

An agreement was made between Hyderabad-based Mughal Emperors Logistics Private Ltd and Almusafir Travels and Tourism Co. Ltd. (Baghdad) under which the companies will settle the matters of providing facilities to tourists and obtaining of visa besides their boarding and lodging.

Indian tourists wishing to visit Iraq will have to approach Mughal Emperors Logistics Private Ltd while Iraqi tourist longing to visit India will have to contact Almusafir Travels and Tourism Co. Ltd in Baghdad.

Mr. Yaqoob Habeebuddin Tucy, promoter of Mughal Emperors Logistics Private Ltd and the great grandson of last Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar and Mr. Husain AlHusain of Almusafir Travels and Tourism Co. Ltd. told this in a press conference here.

According to Tucy, medical tourists from Iraq visit India as expenses of medical treatment in Iraq are quite high. While Indian tourist are keen to visit Iraq to visit places of religious interest including the shrines of Abdul Qadir Gilani in Baghdad, Imam Hussain in Karbala and Imam Ali in Najaf. Some Indians also throng the ruins of Babylonia on the River Tigris.
