Motukupalli questions T-Cong MLAs’ silence on No Trust move

Hyderabad, December 05: The Telugu Desam Telangana Forum member Motukupalli Narasimhulu questioned the silence of Congress MLAs from the Telangana region over the statehood issue.

Talking to reporters here on Sunday, Narasimhulu said that the Telangana Congress MLAs should vote against the government to prove their commitment towards the statehood. He said that Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh changed their stand on Telangana repeatedly. Therefore, the Congress MLAs must teach them a lesson by voting in favour of the No Confidence Motion. Asking the Congress MLAs to break their silence, he demanded that they announce their support for the No Confidence Motion.

Narasimhulu also asked the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and YSR Congress MLAs to clarify their stand by voting in favour of the No Confidence Motion. He also criticised the Speaker for not allowing discussion on the No Confidence Motion only for one day. He said that the TDP has moved the motion due to the failure of Kiran Kumar Reddy Government on several fronts and more time was required for discussions.
