Mr. Harjender Singh Latoo while addressing a meeting organized by Shaheen Women’s Resource and Welfare Association said that the activities of the Hindu outfits had already accelerated before the Independence of India. Their Motto was to convert India into a Hindu country but the constitution framed after the independence of India foiled their evil designs.
Despite this Hindu organizations were successful on various fronts. He was addressing a meeting at press club, Hyderabad yesterday. He further told that after 1991-92, conspiracies started to narrow down the livelihood of the Muslims in an organized way. Communal forces in connivance with the narrow-minded bureaucrats were successful in depriving the Muslims of the facilities offered to weaker sections by the governments.
Mr. Singh told that after the lapse of 60 years of Independence of India, Justice Rajender Singh Sachar’s Committee was constituted. He asked the question “Who is responsible for the backwardness of the Muslims who are more backward than the Daliths?
He stressed the need for the unity of the Muslims and all the weaker sections of the country for transforming the condition of the Muslims. Prof. Javeed Alam and others also addressed the gathering.
