Mother’s name in SSC certificate from next year

Hyderabad, September 15: The State government has permitted the Director of Government Examinations and Commissioner and Director of School Education to incorporate mother’s name in addition to the father’s name in the Register of Admissions and Withdrawals of school students.

In an order issued on Tuesday, the government has directed the Commissioner & Director of School Education, AP, Hyderabad to issue necessary instructions to all the Head Masters of elementary and secondary schools to open an additional column in the “Register of Admissions and Withdrawals” to enter the candidate’s mother’s name to enable the Director of Government Examinations to issue SSC Pass Certificates from SSC Public Examinations 2011 by including mother’s name of the candidate also.

The government also directed the Director of Government Examinations to take necessary action for inclusion of mother’s name of the candidate also in the SSC Pass Certificates of the candidates from 2011 SSC Public Examinations.

The government has issued the order after examining the proposals sent by the Director of Examinations on April 26 and June 30 this year and Commissioner and Director of School Education on July 20.
