In a horrifying incident a mother allegedly burned her 11-year-old child with an electric iron. The boy is said to have caught his mother with her paramour in their house on December 15 where his father was out of the city. The incident occurred in Sangvi.
The woman was arrested along with her paramour from Shirur. The boy’s father lodged a complaint with Sangvi police station.
According to details the women was in a relationship with a relative who visited her on December 15. Her son saw them together and warned that he would tell his father. Enraged over this she burned the boy with an electric iron on his hands and neck.
The woman and her paramour who had fled the city were picked up by the Sangvi police from Shirur after the husband lodged a complaint with the police.
