London, December 20: Women’s fascination for new clothes has long been established. Now, a new study has said that nearly 80 per cent of them buy something knowing that they would never wear them.
The survey, which interviewed 1,623 women aged 18-30 in Britain, also found that 91 per cent of women have an item in their cupboard that still has the tags on.
More over, a quarter wear only 10 per cent of the clothes in their wardrobes, according to the findings of the survey commissioned by Mycelebrityfashion.co.uk.
It also showed that 84 per cent confessed to keeping hold of clothes that were too small for them, and 46 per cent said that they had something in their wardrobe that was over 10 years old, in the hope that it would come back into fashion, the Daily Mail reported.
