Srinagar: Shops and building establishments in many parts of Kashmir remained closed today (Wednesday) observing the 4th deaths Anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
He was a commander of Hizbul Mujahideen. Burhan Wani was sought after by Indian security forces with a hefty bounty on his head. He was killed on 8 July 2016 in a military encounter sparking massive protests across the valley.
Many parts of the valley including Srinagar city and south Kashmir observed a shutdown on his death anniversary.
