Govt. has a proposal to make such occupants tenants by taking appropriate amounts. In this way, the income of Wakf Board could increase up to Rs. 500 crore. If Revenue Department cooperates, Wakf lands could be protected in a better way.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily told that for getting this land, perusing in High Court played an important role. Mr. Ramakanth Reddy, Advocate had made it possible to get the possession of this land but the Congress Govt. changed the Advocate so that Wakf Board could not succeed in High Court. Mr. KCR is secular and he has made many promises for the development of the Muslims. His promise to protect Wakf lands will also be fulfilled. He hoped that Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali who is also the Minister of Revenue Department will make attempts to get back the wakf land of Gutla Begumpet to Wakf Board with the cooperation of the local TRS MP Mr. Vishweshwar Reddy.
