Mosque adjacent to Qutub Shahi Tombs occupied by Lodhas

Historic Qutub Shahi Mosque adjacent to Qutub Shahi Tombs has been occupied by Lodhas. They have divided this mosque into three parts and one brother occupies each portion.

This mosque, which has arches, is based on a four feet terrace.

The miscreants have raised a wall to hide it from the sight of the public. The lands adjacent to this mosque have also been occupied by Lodhas. The Department of Archaeology is silent on this issue.

On enquiry, it was revealed that this structure is a mosque. Since nobody was offering prayers, the mosque is in a very dilapidated condition. Since it was uninhabited, animals used to enter into it. So it has been covered with walls.

It is the responsibility of the Muslims to approach the Dept. of Archaeology and other related departments for taking necessary action.
