Mosque in Aasmangarh damaged to construct apartments on Wakf land

A Mosque near Aasmangarh has been damaged to construct high rise buildings after demolishing Aashoorkhana and Niyazkhana. The Mosque has been covered and construction has been started. Mr. Osman bin Mohammed Al-Hajiri, President Deccan Wakf Properties Protection Society informed about this danger to Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and submitted a memorandum to Chairman of A.P. State Wakf Board, Maulana Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani requesting him to take immediate steps for the protection of this wakf property. The Chairman instructed the Task Force Team of Wakf Board to survey and submit the report to him and also take initiative for stopping construction work immediately.

The wakf property has 2032 sq. yards and its Mutawalli is H.E.H. the Nizam’s Religious Trust. According to Mr. Osman Al-Hajri, Mr. Ansar Naqvi has already started constructions in collaboration with a developer, Mr. Sridhar. Had Wakf Board not taken steps, these people would have demolished the mosque also. He alleged that the Trust has failed protect this wakf property. Ms. Tayyaba Hasan, wife of Nawab Meer Hasan Ali Khan, Mr. Ansar Naqvi and land grabbers conspired to construct building illegally.

Chairman of A.P. State Wakf Board issued instructions to officials to take immediate steps for stopping the constructions by writing letters to GHMC, district collector and other State Govt. officials.
