Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha said on Friday that no in-depth inquiry is required for the technical snag in an engine of the Shri Shakti Express.
Manoj Sinha said, “An overall inquiry is not required. Officials have told us about one engine failure. We are looking into the matter and will provide a double engine soon.”
The Delhi-Katra Sri Shakti Express suffered another technical glitch near Shambhu, Punjab. It left after an hour when a new engine was attached.
The first Delhi-Katra ‘Shri Shakti Express’ which began from Monday, is aimed at facilitating the travel of pilgrims who are visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. This is the second glitch witnessed in three days of its working.
