More worries for pupils as 152 schools in city listed as illegal

According to Hyderabad District Administration there are about 152 unrecognised schools located in the city. A warning has been by the District Administration to the managements that unless and until they apply for recognition, their schools will be seized and will not be permitted to function from the coming academic year in June.

Last year also the department of school education had identified 497 unrecognised schools and issued notices. Soon after the issue of notices, about111 schools had secured recognition, whereas the applications of another 146 schools are in various stages of approval. The remaining 152 schools are not anxious to respond to the notices served by the officer of the Hyderabad District Education.

The department has determined to conduct zonal-wise meetings on January 21, 22 and 23, last year these 152 un-recognised schools was slapped with ‘closure notices’ by the management on the spot, which will be pertinent from coming academic year in June.

Secunderabad Zone: Chaitanya Bharathi School, Rasoolpura; Om Sal Indo English School, Rasoolpura; Indo English School, Rasoolpura; Yoganand School, Shyamial building.

Secunderabad Range II: Bharata Ratna PS, Begumpet; Royal Techno PS, Rasoolpura; Knowledge PS. Chaitanya PS, Rasoolpura.
