More Central Forces Reaching Hyd To Tackle T-March

Even as the TJAC and other organizations are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a resounding success to their proposed Telangana March on September 30, the State Government has sought additional para-military and central police forces to nip in the bud any breach of law and order.

The State Home Minister Mrs. Sabita Indra Reddy has been holding review meetings with top police officials over the steps being taken to meet any untoward incident during the Ganesh immersion procession on September 29, followed by the Telangana March the next day.

As many as 20 companies of central para-military forces including CRPF, BSF , CISF and Rapid Action Force have already arrived in the state capital for deployment in and around the city and Cyberabad area , especially at the venue of the international bi-diversity conference. As a matter of fact, the para-military forces which were meant for the October 1 global meet was asked to come in advance for being drafted for bandobust duty for the ensuing Telangana march.

According to the Additional DGP Law and Order, Mr. S.A. Huda, as per intelligence inputs violence and attacks on properties of people belonging Seemandhra region are expected during the Telangana March. Even there is a threat of attacks on the Assembly, Secretariat and other important government institutions and prominent business houses in Jubilee Hills, Cyberabad, Banajara Hills etc., the report had indicated.

The police authorities have also planned various fool-proof methods to tackle any untoward situation by erecting numerous check posts around the state capital on the entry points from various Telangana districts. Even preventive arrests of known trouble creators are also expected to be launched soon.(NSS)
