Chief Minister N Rangasamy today said the measuring upto the expectations of the poorer sections of people and taking care of their basic amenities.
Handing over keys of houses constructed by the Puducherry Adi Dravidar Welfare Corporation with funds available from Housing and Urban Development Corporation to more than 90 poor families of Karikalambakkam village here, he said HUDCO had made available Rs 6 crore for the project.
He said the administration was meeting the housing and other basic requirements of the downtrodden people.
He also listed various welfare schemes his government was implementing to benefit the downtrodden.
Welfare Minister P Rajavelu was also present.
