More than 2500 blankets donated for Muzaffernagar riot victims

30 year old Ayesha doesn’t even have strength to wail for his innocent dead child. The grief of his son’s death has made her dumbfounded. While her elder son informed that his little brother died of cold. His small grave was built near relief camp. Such horrible scenes are common in relief camps of Muzaffernagar. Instead of helping the government and government officials have left the poor Muslims in lurch. As a result nearly 70 young children have died in relief camps of muzaffernagar so far.

Siasat’s call for relief got a huge response and philanthropists thronged to help the riot victims languishing in relief camps of Muzaffernagar. Only during 2 days, citizens of Hyderabad donated 2394 blankets, 480 warm clothes including sweaters, several cartons of dresses at Siasat office.

It must be recalled that Rs. 10 lakh have already sent to Nadwatul Ulama from Siasat Relief Fund. Hope the cooperation of philanthropists will continue in the coming days too.
