More than 25 pc of Brit women don’t step out without make-up

London: It turns out more than one in 4 women in the UK wouldn’t go out without make-up, finds a new survey.

To mark World Lipstick Day, George at Asda conducted a survey of 1,000 women by and found that while most women wear make-up for more than 60 years of their life, with lipstick and mascara voted the crucial beauty tools, 25 percent of women under 30 even wear make-up at the gym, the Mirror reported.

The research shows that just seven per cent of the females have the courage to step out with their natural look every day.

The survey also revealed that 73 per cent of women start wearing make-up between the ages of 12 and 17.

Gemma Rutter, cosmetic buyer for George, said that it was amazing to think that for 93 per cent of women in the UK, putting on make-up in the morning is as natural as getting dressed. (ANI)
