Hyderabad, November 23: More than 100 baggages of Andhra Pradesh State Hajj Committee pilgrims were seized at Jeddah airport during their return journey from the Holy Pilgrimage.
According to the reports received from Jeddah, the airport administration detained more than 100 baggages for carrying extra luggage or carrying luggage not according to the rules. The baggage will be handed over to Indian Hajj mission by the airport administration. It is said that this action has been taken because of carrying extra luggage by the Hajj pilgrims.
It is said that after the handing over of the luggage to the Indian Hajj mission Andhra Pradesh state Hajj committee will have to collect the luggage after contacting the Indian Hajj mission in Jeddah. The committee may also need to pay the cargo fees for collection of luggage.
For not taking any action in this connection Hajj pilgrims are angry over the state hajj committee.
