Former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana, who was lodged at the Chanchalaguda Jail, was taken to NIMS hospital after he complained of back pain.
Mopidevi, who was arrested in the Vanpic case related to the Disproportionate Assets case of Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, was rushed to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences from the Chanchalguda Jail after he sought better treatment. He is also suffering from high blood pressure and other health problems.
It may be mentioned that earlier Mopidevi was taken to Osmania General Hospital after he complained of chest pain. (INN)
