(Siasat News)The meeting of the Central Moon Sighting Committee was held at Moazamjahi Market under the chairmanship of Maulana Syed Mohammed Qubool Pasha Quadri Shuttari, Secretary, Sadar Majlis-e-Ulema-e-Deccan. The committee got information from places like Luknow, Delhi, Bangalore, Mysore, Allahabad, Kolkatta, Patna, Mumbai, Beedar, Khammam, Warangal, Adhoni, Kurnool, Mahboob Nagar that due to thick clouds in the sky, the Moon could not be sighted.
As per the Shariat, the committee proclaimed that Sunday, 19th August 2012 would be the 30th of Ramazan, 1433 A.H. and Eidul-Fitar would be celebrated on Monday the 20th of August 2012.
