Moody interested in succeeding Flower as England coach

Tom Moody is interested in succeeding Andy Flower as England coach five years after ruling himself out of the job.

The former Aussie all-rounder turned down an offer to be shortlisted when Peter Moores’s reign came to an end.

Moody said England job is one that he thinks any aspiring coach would, Sky Sports reports.

The 48-year-old is currently giving his services to the IPL’s Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Caribbean Premier League.

He said when the opportunity came up five years ago the timing wasn’t right from a personal perspective.

Former India and South Africa coach Gary Kirsten has also been linked with the job, but he has ruled himself out.

Jason Gillespie and Shane Warne have also ruled themselves out, News.com.au reports. (ANI)
