Mumbai, June 01: The southwest monsoon hit Kerala on Monday as scheduled and is expected to hit parts of Karnataka and Goa in 48 hours, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The IMD added the monsoon is likely to hit the Konkan region on June 7 and will arrive in Mumbai on June 10.
Pune witnessed pre-monsoon showers for an hour on Monday.
