Heat wave conditions were continuing in Coastal Andhra and Telangana regions. MET Officials said that the heat waves will continue in Guntur, Krishna, Prakasham, West Godavari, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Nalgonda and Khammam districts in the next two days. Thunder showers are expected in many places in the Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions.
The highest temperature of 46 degrees celcius was recorded on Sunday at Bapatla and Rentachintala. Temperatures recorded at Machilipatnam, Nandigama, Ongole, Bhadrachalam, Khammam, Nalgonda and Ramagundam 45, at Vijayawada, Hanmakonda and Nizamabad 44, at Kavali and Mahoobnagar 43, Hyderabad, Narsapur and Kurnool 42, Nellore, Hakeempet and Kadapa 41, Tirupati 40, Tuni 39, Kakinada 37 and Vishakhapatnam and Anantapuram 35.
