The South-West monsoon which advanced into the Bay of Bengal near the Andaman Islands, is likely to arrive in the State in the first week of June, maintaining its normal timing.
Director State Meteorological Office G. Sudhakar Rao said that the rainfall in the state during this monsoon would be normal.
