The South-West Monsoon is active all over the state. Apart from this, the low pressure trough that was formed from Chattisgarh through the coastal areas up to the south Tamilnadu is also static. According to the Cyclone Warning Centre Visakhapatnam, under its influence, there would be heavy rains at one or two places in the North Coastal region and Telangana in the next one or two days. In the rest of the areas, there might be light to moderate rains or thunder showers, the centre said in its bulletin. (NSS)
