Money lender arrested

Habeebnagar police arrested moneylenders who had imprisoned a family. Three of these moneylenders are said to belong to a local political party. Two of them are the active workers of Majlis. Inspector of Habeebnagar police station confirmed that four persons have been arrested who had imprisoned a family by locking their house. Out of the four persons arrested, one person is the father-in-law of the man who borrowed money on interest. Two rowdysheeters and their companion were also arrested. According to the statement of Mr. N.V.S.V. Venkateshwara Rao, the father-in-law of Mr. Sadiq, Mr. Hafeez, a rowdysheeter chotu, Sardar and Ghouse have been arrested. According the statement made by inspector of Police Ghouse is known as “Hotel Ghouse” and Sardar as “Murghi Market Sardar”. According to police inspector, when the moneylender was pressing for the repayment of money, Hafeez went to the house of his son-in-law,
Mr. Sadiq. Basheer the financier locked the house and harassed the persons. Those who were arrested didn’t inform the police about the atrocities of the moneylender Basheer.

Local residents applauded the action taken by the police and said that by doing so, the police has represented the public grievances. Residents of Aghapura, Dargah Yousufain, Murghi Market, Habeebnagar, Afzal Sagar and surrounding localities praised the action taken by the police. The police told that the arrest of Majlis activist is an impartial action. A local newspaper had written about the two persons arrested that they were the social activists and in their presence the lock was broken open, but that newspaper couldn’t save him from police arrest.
