New Delhi, November 10:The unsolved murder case of fashion designer Mona Suri was today transferred to a designated court here after the Crime Branch of the Delhi police was asked to probe the matter.
Police earlier told the Delhi High Court that no breakthrough has been achieved in the probe and consequently the matter has been handed over to the Crime Branch on September 24.
Metropolitan Magistrate Munish Markan allowed the plea that the matter be transferred to the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Naveen Arora who hears matters pertaining to the Crime Branch.
The ACMM, who started hearing the matter afresh, asked the police to file the probe report in the matter on November 26.
Suri, 35, was burnt alive by two persons who poured kerosene on her outside her residence at Greater Kailash area here on August 12, 2007.
