New Delhi, October 16: In the midst of a succession war in Andhra Pradesh, Law Minister M Veerappa Moily today dedicated his book on India’s water resources to former state Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy who died in a helicopter crash.
“I have dedicated the book to late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy who ushered in a revolution in irrigation and drinking water by innovative Jala Yajna,” Moily said at the book release function.
The book ‘Water: Elixir of Life’ was released by Vice President Hamid Ansari in the presence of Water Resources Minister Pawan Bansal.
Moily, who is also incharge of Congress affairs in Andhra Pradesh, later told reporters that the party will take an appropriate decision on the issue of Chief Minister at an appropriate time.
“We have to look at the next four and half years…a decision will be taken at an appropriate time,” he said.
