Hyderabad: Dr S Raja Siddaram appointed Qazi Mohammed Zaheeruddin (retd. Deputy Secretary Assembly Secretariat) as Urdu Liaison Officer. He has been assigned Urdu affairs including agenda questions in assembly, uploading of clippings of Urdu newspapers on website, looking after the site and liaison with Urdu knowing members and other works assigned by the department.
It must not be out of place to mention here that Telangana is the only state in the country which has launched Urdu website.
