NEW DELHI: Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami get bashed for posting a photograph with his wife Hasin Jahan wearing a sleeveless gown.
He was abuse and troll over the ‘immodesty’ of his wife’s attire.
On 23 December, Shami posting an image of himself and beautiful wife Hasin Jahan.
What attracted the ire is the Hasin’s dressing- ‘A sleeveless gown.’
People posted nasty comments for not ‘covering’ her properly:
“sharam karo sar aap ek muslim ho bibi ko parde me rakho”
(Be ashamed Sir, you’re a Muslim and you should keep your wife behind curtains).
Apki wife ka itan bada gala pehni hain, aapko sharam nahin ayi,
(You wife is wearing such a revealing dress, aren’t you ashamed?)
Former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif took to Twitter in Shami’s defence and wrote: “The comments are really really Shameful. Support Mohammed Shami fully. There are much bigger issues in this country. Hope sense prevails.”
