Mohammed Pahelwan surrenders

(Siasat News) Mr. Mohammed Pahelwan who was implicated in Chandrayangutta, Barkas attack case went to Nampally Criminal Court and surrendered. He was accompanied by his family members and a large number of his followers. He had received written orders yesterday from the court after his bail was cancelled to surrender to court. He presented himself at the court of III Addl. Metropolitan Magistrate. The magistrate gave him in judicial custody for 14 days. It may be recalled that justice K.C. Bhanu of A.P. High Court had cancelled the bails of Mohammed Pahelwan, his brother Younus Bin Omer Al-Yafayi and Munawar Iqbal last week asking them to surrender to the lower court.

After the self surrender, C.C.S police wanted to take him under its custody to take him once aging to central crime station for further interrogation but the defense consul Mr. Mohammed Muzafferullah Khan, Advocate opposed it and apprised the police officials of the court order which doesn’t say anything about police interrogation during judicial custody.

Police had made elaborate arrangements at the Nampally criminal court premises. The police tried to stop the supporters of Mohammed Pahelwan from entering into the court premises.
