There was panic in the premises of the Criminal Court of Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally yesterday afternoon when Mohammed Pahelwan was produced in Court.
The Task Force of Central Zone City Police forcibly took into its custody all those relatives and visitors who had come to court to meet Mr. Mohammed Pahelwan.
Mr. Mohammed Bin Omer Yafai is implicated in the attack case on Mr. Akberuddin Owaisi, MLA of MIM. Mohammed Pahelwan was brought to Criminal Court from Cherlapally Jail. On receiving the news of arresting the relatives of Mohammed Pahelwan, Mr. Mohammed Muzafferullah Khan, Advocate approached Metropolitan Magistrate and informed him about these illegal arrests.
The magistrate called Mr. Ch. Sreedhar, Inspector of Police Nampally and enquired about the arrests. He told the magistrate that these people have been arrested as a precautionary measure.
Mr. Muzafferullah Khan suspected that Mohammed Pahelwan’s relatives have been arrested with a plan to implicate them in fake cases. The arrested persons were handed over to Nampally police station. Mr. Khan approached the police station and got them released.
Twelve persons were produced in Criminal Court in connection with the criminal case of attacking Akbaruddin Owaisi.
It may be noted that Justice Jagdish Singh and Justice B.H. Chowhan of the Supreme Court had dismissed the appeal of Mohammed Pahelwan for bail and had directed him to surrender to police.
