Mohammed Ahmedullah promises better facilities to Hajj pilgrims

Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Ahmedullah on Saturday released the Hajj application forms for Hajj 2014 at Hajj House. The Minister promised to provide better facilities to pilgrims this year. He claimed that the arrangements made by the Hajj committee are getting improved year by year and Hajj 2014 will witness excellent arrangements. Minority Welfare Minister told that the government has increased the Hajj committee budget from 1 crore to 2 crore. He said the issue of construction of new Hajj House will be resolved within one week after convening a meeting with secretary Minority Welfare, Minority Welfare Commissioner and Special Officer Hajj Committee.

Shaikh Mohd. Iqbal, Commissioner, Minorities Welfare, urged pilgrims to bring change in their lives after the Holy Pilgrimage and help poor and needy people.

Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor warned the Hajj aspirants not to fall prey to the middlemen’s trickery, as the selection will be purely based on drawing of lots.
