Former police constable Mohammed Abdul Qadeer Parole extended to August 5 on wednesday from high court of Andhra Pradesh, who is serving life sentence in ACP murder case, While hearing the petition of Sabera Begum, wife of Abdul Qadeer, Justice Naushad Ali directed the petitioner’s counsel Pushpinder Kaur to file a fresh affidavit on the health condition of Qadeer.
This is the fourth time that Qadeer’s parole has been extended since January. The convict who has lost one of his legs to chronic diabetics is also suffering from hypertension and other related ailments.
In the last hearing the judge had extended his parole to July 15. The judge has posted the next hearing to August 2. “Abdul Qadeer has been in prison since 1992. His detention has now become illegal,” she said.
