Mohammad Salman bags 9th rank in Medicine

Hyderabad, July 2: Mr. Damodar Raj Narsimha, deputy chief minister and Minister for higher education on Friday released EAMCET ranks. Talking to media persons he said that counseling for admissions into engineering will be conducted in second or third week of July while counseling for medicine will begin from July 17.

3 candidates from Hyderabad and Secunderabad are among top 10 rankers.

Mr. Mohammad Salman from Chandrayangutta has placed himself among top 10 rankers by getting 9th rank in medicine. This way he got first rank in the minority list.
Boys secured top five ranks in the engineering category while girls topped the top five ranks in medicine stream

Mr. Narsimha told that 222857 candidates qualified EAMCET out of total 2,69,988 appeared. In EAMCET medicine 65736 candidates appeared out of which 55995 qualified.

Altogether 21380 Muslim candidates appeared in EAMCET 2011 of which 14497 qualified.
