Hyderabad, December 5: Among others Mr. Mohammad Ali Shabbir is also in the fray for the post of AP congress committee president.
Present Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas has completed his tenure and party high command has invited him to Delhi to exchange views over the current political situation in the state and appointment of the new Pradesh Congress Committee president.
Party high command is displeased over the way the ministers have expressed their resentment over allocation of portfolios.
Muslims are displeased as just one Muslim leader has been included in the cabinet. Congress party considers that Congress has regained power because of Muslims. Jagan Mohan Reddy can lure Muslims by including his father’s schemes in the party agenda.
After subtly reviewing the situation it has been considered to hand over Pradesh party presidentship to a Muslim leader and former minister Mohammad Ali Shabbir’s name is on the top of the list.
