Abu Dhabi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the United Arab Emirates reflects the two nations’ longstanding historical ties, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said on Saturday.
“With great appreciation, we welcome the country’s guest, the Prime Minister of India His Excellency the Honourable Narendra Modi, whose presence in the United Arab Emirates, which is connected to India, has a long history and a bright common future,” the Crown Prince tweeted.
He said the Prime Minister’s visit added to the architecture of friendship and mutual cooperation between the two nations.
The Prime Minister received a ceremonial reception as he reached Abu Dhabi, the second leg of his three-nation tour.
“His visit reflects our longstanding historical ties and is a testament to our friendly bilateral relationship.”
He will later in the evening attend a banquet dinner hosted by the Crown Prince.
On Sunday, he will address at a community event at Dubai Opera. (ANI)
