NEW DELHI: PM Modi is an active social media user with as many as over 32 million followers was quick enough to either confirm Ivanka’s Trump participation in Global Entrepreneurship Summit or to congratulate Nitish Kumar after his resignation.
Since the news broke, nation is outraged over deaths of infants at the Baba Raghav Das Hospital allegedly due to disruption in the supply of liquid oxygen Yogi Adityanath’s citadel but it seems our PM Modi has no time to voice his opinion over the tragedy in which innocent children lost their lives.
As many as over 63 mainly children, choked to death due to lack of oxygen supply.
Several people took to twitter and said time to tweet on ‘stupid things’ but not on Gorakhpur tragedy. They question his active participation over the incident and #ModiMustSpeak started trending.

After facing criticism, Prime Minister’s Office has tweeted that the PM is closely monitoring the situation.

In two tweets that can be seen as word from Centre, the PMO said, “PM is constantly monitoring the situation in Gorakhpur. He is in constant touch with authorities from the Central & UP Governments.”
In another tweet, PMO said, “MoS Health Anupriya Patel & the Union Health Secretary will take stock of the situation from Gorakhpur.”
