Video: Modi nominates Amitabh’s name for next President of India

New Delhi: In a major revelation, politician Amar Singh had said that he got to know that ‘PM Narendra Modi is planning to propose Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s name for the next President of India’.

Amar Singh claimed about the Amitabh Bachchan’s nomination for President’s post in an exclusive interview to Zee News’ India24x7 (Essel Group’s news channel). He was interviewed by India 24X7 editor Vasindra Mishra.

“After Modi-Bachchan’s meeting for ‘Paa’, Narendra Modi had asked Amitabh Bachchan to become brand ambassdoor of Gujarat,” Amar Singh claimed in the interview.

Earlier, BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha also mooted the name of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan as the next President of India

“It will be a matter of pride if Amitabh Bachchan, a cultural icon, is made president of the country,” Sinha told reporters. “Amitabh Bachchan has achieved many a milestone in cultural and social fields and if he becomes president, it will fetch a good name for the country,” Sinha, who has worked with the star in many successful movies, said.

According to revealed information it is clearly known that Amar Singh is very close to Bachchan’s family.

As President Pranab Mukherjee will completes his time with in few years. So, from now onwards our Prime Minister is planning to nominate Bollywood Big B for President of India post.
