Telangana State BJP president Dr K Laxman today asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was running the government as per the aspirations and desires of Constitutional architect Dr B R Ambedkar.
The BJP leader was speaking at Constitution Day function organied by the State BJP SC Morcha. Laxman alleged that the Congress always insulted Dr Ambedkar. He also reminded it was Congress which failed to give “Bharat Ratna” to Dr Ambedkar, who had shown path to India. Laxman reminded that the BJP gave due respect to Babasaheb Ambedkar by decorating Bharat Ratna award. Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister, who visited native village of Ambedkar, he added. Laxman also alleged that the Congress was not able to digest the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has taken a firm measure to check black money by announcing demonetization of big notes.
