Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi are scheduled to hold various rallies on Saturday, the last day of campaigning for second and last phase of Gujarat assembly elections.
Rahul Gandhi will address a rally in Bhuj while Modi will be holding five rallies in various districts today.
The first phase of the election held on December 13 witnessed around 70 percent voting and both the parties are making all effort to garner vote in their favour in the second phase of polling on December 17.
Earlier on Friday, Congress President Sonia Gandhi said that the Gujarat government is making false promises to electorates and claimed that Gujarat has progressed due to the Congress rule while addressing an election rally.
The second phase will be held on December 17 while the counting of votes will be taken up on December 20.
